Our retreat went soooo well! Let's break it down to pieces, shall we?
We left the school @ 8am, riding 2 vans, a green one and a white one. Of course, the whole of the Romulo class decided to stay together, so we rode on the green van. Anyway, after about an hour or road trip.. we arrived at the covenant house real early... well... that's for Romulo's case, anyway. Antonio's van got lost! We waited for them for about 2 hours!! And this was where the fun began. :)
The whole of Romulo, including T. Tina and T. Nino, stayed for the meanwhile, inside the girls room (which btw is sooooo big)! The girls' dorm had around 20+ beds! Alright, like we've said, the fun began. We started to take pictures, posing every way we wanted to!
Of course, after our 'photoshoot', we decided to play some Taboo. Good thing there was Taboo, or else we wouldn't be able to entertain ourselves for the remaining time we spent waiting for the other class.
We even had enough time to 'loiter' around the covenant house. :)
At around lunchtime, finally, the other class arrived, and we were all able to have our lunches! We finished an hour later. After another 30 mins of afternoon nap, we were required to proceed now to the conference room. And this was where our retreat officially began. Our retreat master, Francis Jonathan was the one who led us to this new experience we were about to have. We learned a lot not only about his life, but also those little lessons in life that we sometimes don't mind.
We took a break from our retreat-ing at around 4.30 for some merienda and then resumed immediately.
We finished our session at 7.30 and then ate dinner. Of course, after a few minutes to brush teeth, prepare, we went back to conference room. We finished at around 10.00.
But we weren't going to bed yet. >:) we still had to do a letter for our parents and for our siblings. We had to make it a very 'fulfilling' letter.
It was already 12.00 past and the girls weren't even asleep yet! Even the boys! The ladies even went star gazing! lol! Sadly, no boys were invited coz they might be noisy. And Edmarl, Vlad and Lou were the ones who were able to survive the whole night without sleeping!! That's why on the trip home, bagsak!
We started the next day very early! Everybody woke up at 6.00am and everyone proceeded to the dining room at 7am for breakfast. After that, we headed quickly to the conference room to finish the last activity on our agenda.
The last activity was indeed fun. All of us 9even the teachers) were asked to form a circle with two outlines, and those two lines were asked to rotate on opposite directions. And then you have to say something nice about the person who is in front of you and the rotation goes on until you finish saying nice things about everyone. Some of us cried, laughed, reminsced...you name it!
And, as expected, even the boys cried! lol! Everyone cried! The ones who didn't are made of stone!
We not only learned about God, but we also learned about ourselves.
We feel sad that not all of us were able to join the retreat. But not to worry, we have enough memories and bonding moments already! And for sure we will more!

House ng Romulo is another video project of ours which, of course, we enjoyed filming. :)
Aside from the fact that we we're delayed in filming (we were supposed to start @ 8AM. Assembly is as 7AM. We started filming @ around 9:30AM), we were still able to catch up. We began the filming by taping our intro for the show.. then Big Brother (Nicole) briefed us with the house rules. A few minutes later we all entered this big room where we were asked to wait for the first task. And so, we began to entertain ourselves by playing a game of Killer. Finally, after a few rounds, the first task was announced.
FIRST TASK: Choreograph dance steps for the song Numa Numa Nei of the Chicken Little Soundtrack.
At first we found it real difficult, but then some of us began to dance crazy steps which we soon used in the song. We weren't that concentrated on choreographing since we were getting hungry already... it's a good thing that we had food and classmates to cook it. This was the second task.
SECOND TASK: (for us..hehe) Cook our lunch.
THIRD TASK: Happy Birthday Edmarl!
Of course, we didn't forget to 'surprise' our classmate, Edmarl on his very special day. Some of us pitched in and bought Edmarl his birthday cake!
Before we got to eat we still had another task to do...
FOURTH TASK: A message to your parents.
It was some sort of wonder that when the background music started playing... all of us began to cry...all at the same time! It was kinda hard for all of us try and tell it straight to the camera our message to our parents while trying to hold back your tears and keep your voice loud enought so that the camera would be able to hear it. But of course, we were all there for each other and we manage to complete the task with laughs and hugs.
We started and eating. And as soon as we were done.. We rehearsed our dance for the Numa Numa song and prepared. We had to do several shots for this scene since there were cars.. (we were dancing on the streets). 3
And of course, we passed the first task with flying colors! Haha! It was kinda weird dancing on the streets since people were looking at us but what the heck! We were havin' fun!
And the moment of truth was up... It was eviction time. We were once again gathered in room... tension was filled the air.. all of us were anxious to know who was going to be evicted... Big Brother spoke, everybody listend.

Big Brother: Well, fortunately, no one is going to be evicted! All of you are winners!

That was how our filming went. Happy ending, as usual. And scripted... lol! Overall, we enjoyed and it was truly and experience :)

Happy Holidays everyone! Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!
We know the greeting is kinda late, but it's better to be late than never, right?
Finally after three days of difficulty, three days of MCU, we were finally able to breathe easier. At last the days of terror were over (temporarily) and were free!
Our Christmas Party was extra special 'coz not only did we celebrate Christmas but also Teacher Tina's birthday as well. The whole class pitched in to buy teacher this big, big cake and balloons plus a gift! We even managed to have a video presentation for Teacher Tina on her very special day! :)
Of course, being the party people that we are, we managed to have Magic Sing in class! Karla brought the TV while Monica and Matt brought the Magic Sing! woohoo! And of course, the singing was heard throughout the corridors of the third floor! lol! Everyone was of course enjoying! (whoever wasn't is stoic... ^_^.. kidding!)
Singing, eating, games, opening of presents, laughter... it was the perfect picture of how a Christmas party should be celebrated! hehe...
One classmate though wasn't able to join us 'coz he left for Hong Kong that day... [*ehem* *calling Bom* Awww... Bom.. you missed out on the memories.... T_T.. *ehehehe* *joke*]
So you guys don't have to go on picturing how our Chrismas hurrah went like and since Christmas is the season of sharing, we'd like to share to everyone this batch of pictures we took from our Christmas Party last December 15.
